Get to Know
Brent Wiley

Brent Wiley was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan.  After graduating from the University of Regina with a degree in Sociology and Visual Arts, he returned to earn his Bachelors of Education, graduating in 2004.

For over twenty years, Brent, his wife Melissa, and their five children have called Strathmore home.  Brent is a teacher at Holy Cross Collegiate and has won the Master Teacher award twice.  He loves his job and especially enjoys teaching history, religion, philosophy, economics, and art.  Melissa is a piano teacher and is active in the arts community.  Brent’s faith and church community are very important to him.  He also believes in giving back to his community by volunteering.

On October 18, 2021, Brent Wiley was elected to represent the people of Strathmore as councillor on the Town Council.  He says, “It’s been one of the honours of my life and I take seriously the responsibility of carefully managing spending and trying to find efficiencies in services.”
